‘Bear Lady’ arrested with husband after 13 docile ‘guardbears’ fail to protect their million dollar Christina Lake outdoor grow-op

BEARS TOO STONED TO DO THEIR JOB?

This story is instant BC bud folklore.

A Christina Lake recluse and her husband have been arrested, charged and released to appear at a future court date for operating a $1,000,000 remote outdoor grow-op that was supposed to be guarded by 13 bears.

Police found the animals to be docile and they didn’t interfere with the police confiscation of the plants.

Apparently the good ol’ bears were basically too stoned to do their guard duties properly and now the animal-loving ‘Bear Lady’  is facing some serious cultivation and possible trafficing charges, as is her unnamed husband.

This story cracked me up, despite the sad outcome for the ‘Bear Lady’ and her husband.

The bears are endangered also, because the ‘conservation officers’ and police say they may have to kill them.

The identities of the ‘Bear Lady’ and her husband, both of whom were charged, were not released by police, for some reason.
