MYRTILLE HENRION PICCO:

De Nos Jours Les Humeurs Vagues Abondent

MYRTILLE HENRION PICCO

Nancy-born French Neo Surrealist figure painter Myrtille Henrion Picco has a colourful body of painted work devoted almost exclusively to painting other women, and many of her paintings are available for viewing at her website FIGURATION FEMININE.

I owe a debt of gratitude to Myrtille Henrion Picco, as I have learned a lot about ‘women painting women’ all over the world in the last couple of days, from the invaluable research she has done at FIGURATION FEMININE and I have taken the liberty in my excitement to spread some of what I have learned to the pages of ROCKLAND.

MYRTILLE HENRION PICCO: Looks like the Cirque du Soleil, non?

I love the moody blues, exotic turquoises, purple hazes and acid greens that Myrtille Henrion Picco uses regularly in her recent paintings of women, and her very French joie de vie also is evident in all of her surrealistic dance paintings.

Myrtille sure loves those moody blues, purple hazes, exotic turquoises and acid greens!

THANKS VERY MUCH, MYRTILLE, FOR ALL YOUR WONDERFUL PAINTINGS, AND THE GOOD WORK YOU DO FOR ALL OF US DISCOVERING THESE HIDDEN TREASURES BY WOMEN WHO OFTEN SHOULD BE BETTER KNOWN !
